PETALING JAYA:
The two teenage sons of Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd CEO Nazrin Hassan have been arrested as part of the police investigation into his murder, The Malay Mail Online (MMO) reports.

The report, quoting a police source, said the boys were arrested after puncture marks were discovered in Nazrin’s neck which were consistent with those from an archery arrow.

“The boys were picked up as part of investigations as it is learnt they both play archery and there were other leads upon interrogation with their parents that led to their arrest,” the source told MMO.

According to the report, the two boys were picked up at about 9.30pm last night.

Nazrin’s wife Samirah Muzaffar was also arrested earlier this week and remanded for seven days to facilitate the investigation.

This came nearly a month after authorities confirmed that Nazrin’s death had been classified as murder.

It was initially reported that he had died in a fire at his residence in Petaling Jaya.

At the time, Cradle Fund confirmed that the post-mortem report concluded he had died of complications from injuries suffered when a mobile phone that was being charged exploded.

According to MMO, Samirah’s ex-husband has also been arrested and remanded to assist in the investigation.
