Hasan, popularly known as Tok Mat, defeated Umno information chief Annuar Musa in a straight fight.
The former Negeri Sembilan menteri besar Hasan got 110 divisional votes out of the total 191. Annuar got 47.
Announcing the official results, Umno secretary-general Tengku Adnan Mansor said votes from some Umno divisions were still being counted.
Meanwhile, he said election at the Bakri Umno division in Johor had to be delayed due to a problem with the ballot papers.
As such, he said only two of the three vice-presidents could be confirmed tonight.
They are Ismail Sabri and Mahdzir Khalid, while Khaled Nordin and Johari Ghani are in a close contest for the third position.
Earlier, Zahid, who was made acting president following Najib Razak’s resignation last month, defeated Khairy and Razaleigh, getting 78 divisional votes.
Khairy got 53 votes, while Razaleigh, on his second bid for the Umno presidency since the divisive elections of 1987, only got 28 votes.
