PETALING JAYA: The mother of Johor’s Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar, Josephine Ruby Trevorrow, died in London yesterday at the age of 82.
Trevorrow married Sultan Ibrahim’s father, Sultan Iskandar Sultan Ismail, in 1956. They had met in Britain where Sultan Iskandar was studying.
After their marriage, she took the name Khalsom Abdullah.
They had four children, including Sultan Ibrahim. Her three daughters are Tunku Kamariah Aminah, Tunku Besar Zabedah and Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, who is the wife of Pahang’s Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah.
