KOTA KINABALU:
Sabah governor Juhar Mahiruddin has lodged a report against Sabah Barisan Nasional chief Musa Aman, believed to be over alleged threats.

Sabah police chief Commissioner Ramli Din confirmed the report had been lodged but declined to comment further.

“I can only confirm a report was lodged, I hope you understand,” Ramli said after being pressed to confirm the nature of the report.

News of the report comes after Musa began legal proceedings against Juhar and Parti Warisan Sabah president Shafie Apdal over the governor’s decision of who was to take up the position of chief minister.

A writ of summons was filed against them on May 17.

It is learnt that in his writ, Musa is seeking a declaration, among others, that he is and remains the lawful chief minister of Sabah, and that the “purported swearing-in” of Shafie as a second chief minister on May 12 by Juhar was unconstitutional.
