KUALA LUMPUR:
Ride-hailing firm Grab is offering discounted rates to or from polling stations nationwide on May 9 in conjunction with the 14th general election.

The discount is valid for all polling stations across the 25 cities nationwide in which Grab operates, as well as two new areas – Lahad Datu and Sarikei – where Grab will begin operations on May 2.

“Just go to the GrabRewards catalogue and, for only 250 points, redeem RM5 off for one ride, valid for any vehicles and payment method on May 9, 2018 only,” Grab country head, Sean Goh, said in a statement today.

“One of the things that matters most to us in Grab is the voice of our Grabbers. Their feedback and opinions matter to us and we take great efforts to make everyone feel valued, appreciated and assured that their voice matters in shaping a company we can all be proud to be a part of.

“As such, we feel it is also imperative to remind our fellow Malaysians that their voice and vote matters in deciding the kind of Malaysia we want to live in,” he said.
