
Khairy, who is also chairman of Barisan Nasional (BN) Youth and the youth and sports minister, said these promises were unrealistic and would have implications on the economy.
“They said they would abolish, among other things, the toll collection and existing tax system which, if implemented, means they would have to look for other sources of revenue to implement the national development agenda and so on.
“I am very confident that they will not be able to fulfil their promises compared to BN.
“BN made promises according to their capability which will be announced after the general election,” he said here last night.
