Pakatan Harapan (PH) secretary-general Saifuddin Abdullah has been named as PKR’s candidate to contest the Indera Mahkota parliamentary seat in the coming polls.

The announcement was made by state PKR chairman Fauzi Abdul Rahman, who is former Indera Mahkota MP, during a dinner here last night.

Saifuddin will face PAS information chief Nasrudin Hassan Tantawi.

In GE13, the former deputy higher education minister lost the Temerloh parliamentary seat to Nasrudin by a 1,070-vote majority.

Fauzi will contest the Sungai Lembing state seat while Fuziah Salleh, who has won the Kuantan parliamentary seat for two consecutive terms, will contest the seat again.

Lee Chean Chung has been named as the candidate for the Semambu state seat and Sim Chon Siang for the Teruntum state seat.

Kamarzaman Mohamed Yunus will contest the Panching state seat while Fakhrul Anuar Zulkawi will contest the Inderapura state seat.

Meanwhile, Mohd Yazid Mohd Yunus from PPBM has been named as the candidate for the Paya Besar parliamentary seat.
