ALOR SETAR: Amanah has announced 13 candidates to contest in Kedah in the coming election.
Amanah president Mohamad Sabu said the 13 seats comprised three parliamentary seats and 10 state seats.
Amanah vice-president Mahfuz Omar, who is the incumbent for the Pokok Sena parliamentary seat, will defend his seat.
As for the other two parliamentary seats, Amanah nominated Kedah Amanah vice youth chief Mohd Khairizal Khazali to contest in Padang Terap while Azli Che Uda, who is a Sik division committee member, will contest in Sik.
Mohamad made the announcement during a speech at Hutan Kampung near here last night.
