PETALING JAYA:
Political analyst Wan Saiful Wan Jan, who recently quit the Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (IDEAS), is joining PPBM.

According to an invitation to a press conference by the party, the life-time PAS member will be officially welcomed as a member this Thursday.

Wan Saiful, who founded IDEAS, previously refused to confirm speculation of his move into party politics.

“But I see my next move as a step that I must take now or I will regret it forever,” he had said.

“Now is the time to take the same risk again, to bring that same passion to a wider audience.”

IDEAS was launched in 2010, and is the brainchild of Wan Saiful together with Negeri Sembilan prince Tunku Zain Al-’Abidin Tuanku Muhriz and Wan Mohd Firdaus Wan Mohd Fuaad.
