She will be flown to her hometown tonight.
Lisao, 26, died at the Bukit Mertajam Hospital on Feb 11. She had been admitted there the day before, after her plight was brought to the attention of Bukit Mertajam MP Steven Sim’s service centre.
Social workers from Sim’s office had alerted authorities on the deplorable physical state she was in.

Indonesian consulate-general consular affairs officer Neni Kurniati said her remains will be sent to her family in South Central Timor Regency, Indonesia, tonight.
“We expect her remains to arrive at her hometown by Saturday, 8.35pm at El Tari Airport, Kupang,” she told FMT.
Meanwhile, Penang police chief A Thaiveegan said the cause of death in Lisao’s case has yet to be determined as the full post-mortem results have not been released.
He said to date, 19 statements, including from neighbours of the house where Lisao had been working, have been recorded and the investigations are ongoing.
On allegations that the maid had sustained injuries from an accidental acid spill, Thaiveegan said it was too soon to say anything without the post-mortem results.
He said the report may only be released “in one or two months”.
A brother and sister and their mother, aged 36 to 60, have been remanded to assist in what police are calling a murder investigation.
A report by Indonesian national newspaper Kompas has said Lisao died of “anaemia, loss of blood and malnutrition due to neglect”, quoting an official with the National Agency for the Placement and Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (BNP2TKI).
BNP2TKI chief Nusran Wahid told the daily Lisao also sustained animal bites on her right hand and acid spill on her left hand.
Lisao was spotted sleeping next to a Rottweiler dog by a concerned neighbour for the past two months and alerted a journalist.
The journalist then alerted Sim, who sent his staff to investigate.
Lisao was found with pus-filled hands and legs and could barely walk. She was suspected of having septicaemia after her wounds appeared to have not healed.
Her employers only took her to the Bukit Mertajam Hospital after being told by Sim’s staff members to ensure Lisao got urgent medical attention.
She died after spending a night at the hospital.
Police had initially reported Lisao to be 21 years old and from Medan. The Indonesian consulate has since clarified her age to be 26 and that she was from South Central Timor.
The incident sparked an uproar among rights groups, with NGO Tenaganita calling it “a widespread and deep-seated malaise” in Malaysian society on the treatment of migrant domestic workers.
