
He said spoiling one’s vote was not the answer to express dissatisfaction with any political party.
“Choosing to spoil our own vote will not solve our political differences. Be an informed voter and vote responsibly for the future of our country,” he said in a blog post.
Salleh said anyone who was still confused about which party to vote for in the upcoming general election could make optimal use of the ICT facilities available in the country to find the necessary information.
He said the information they should be seeking were the track records of the leaders from the contesting parties, as well as their offerings and agenda.
“Vote for the leadership with proven stability, which has managed to preserve racial harmony and has given priorities to important issues, such as national security, terrorism, poverty, economic development and etc.
“Once you are ready, then use your power wisely and discharge your duty for the country. Only by using that power, further development and improvement can be achieved in the country,” he added.
