The embassy, in a statement, said Alum, at 1.25 metres tall with dark brown hair and green eyes, was believed to be last seen in Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan, and was heading to Kulai, Johor.
“Alum’s parents, both Argentine, are separated and the mother, Elisabeth, was granted full custody of the child.
“The father abducted Alum from her school and left Argentina illegally.
“The embassy confirms that her former partner was recently seen with the child in different locations in Malaysia,” it said.
Alum’s mother, Elisabeth Avalos, is asking for the media’s attention in this case to bring home her daughter.
She is now in Malaysia hoping to put an end to her seven months’ of misery after being torn apart from her only daughter.
“The Malaysian authorities have been extremely cooperative with us, and we are very hopeful that we will soon find Alum.
“To be able to achieve this, any information from the public about the case will be very much appreciated”, said Manuel Balaguer Salas, Argentinian ambassador to Malaysia.
