KUALA LUMPUR: A Form 3 student died after being struck by an office chair believed to have been hurled from the upper floor of a flat in Pantai Dalam, last night.

Brickfields police chief Ruslan Khalid said the victim, S Sathiwaran, had been about to enter a covered area at Block 102 of Projek Perumahan Rakyat Seri Pantai.

“The victim suffered serious head injuries and died at the scene,” he said.

Roslan said the case was being investigated under Section 304A of the Penal Code – causing death by negligence.
