Roslan Shahir Mohd Shahir, who is also the state PAS information chief, said there was no letter or announcement from the Selangor government about his sacking.
“So far, the party has yet to get any instruction. If that’s the case, at least the person concerned, or the party which appointed him, should be notified,” he told FMT.
Sin Chew Daily, quoting sources, said Roslan has been removed from MPSJ.
Roslan said he has carried out his duties effectively as a councillor and as such was surprised by the report.
“There have not been any complaints about my services. There should be a reason to expel me.”
The Chinese-language daily also reported that the Selangor government had frozen annual funds for all PAS assemblymen in the state.
To this, Roslan said the funds had already been channelled to the respective parties.
When contacted, Azmin’s political secretary refused to confirm the report, adding that he too was not aware of the matter.
