PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, who made the allegation, said checks showed that the engineering firm earned RM3.06 million from the GLC from 2006 to 2017.
Speaking at a press conference in Komtar today, Saifuddin said the CEO in question was formerly a director of the engineering firm.
He said although the CEO had relinquished his directorship from the engineering firm in 2005, he was still signing cheques on behalf of the firm until today.
“There is a clear conflict of interest,” Saifuddin said.
He said the signed cheques and the dates of the transactions between the GLC and the engineering firm were in his possession and more details would be revealed soon.
He urged the GLC to give its explanation about the matter.
