Police: Viral photos of cash just fake money used in movie

Police have confirmed that the viral photos of a pile of cash allegedly seized in Port Klang was just fake money used in the locally-produced movie, “Abang Long Fadil 2”, released in August.

“The police have contacted Skop Productions (the company which co-produced the movie) and its representative said the photos were among the scenes in “Abang Long Fadil 2”.

“Klang policemen were also involved in the film,” said Klang Selatan police chief ACP Shamsul Amar Ramli in a statement here today.

The two photos circulating on social media since yesterday, show a pile of cash stuffed in a container and placed on a trolley.
