PUTRAJAYA: The Inland Revenue Board (IRB) has denied that its staff are active in criticising the government on the social media.

In a statement issued here yesterday, the IRB said the person concerned was a former staff member of the department who retired in August last year.

“The IRB denies that the individual still has ties with the department, and his opinions and comments on social media do not represent the IRB,” it said.

It also urged the individual not to connect himself with the department as he no longer worked there.
