SHAH ALAM: Motorists using the Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP) and the Sprint Expressway will enjoy a discount of 60 sen and 20 sen, respectively, on Wednesday in conjunction with Deepavali.
Lingkaran Trans Kota Sdn Bhd (Litrak) chief executive officer Sazally Saidi said the toll discounts would apply to all vehicle types on both expressways and were valid only on Deepavali day.
“An estimated 577,000 users of both expressways will enjoy the discounts,” he told reporters at the company’s CSR (corporate social responsibility) event where 30 orphans , aged between four and 18, from the Agathian Shelter, Petaling Jaya, were taken on a visit to the I-City theme park here.
Sazally said that since 2010, the company had spent RM15.4 million on CSR activities.
The company had also given RM10.14 million worth of discounts for the LDP and RM900,000 for the Sprint Expressway since 2010, he added.
