He said the opposition coalition did not have a common value or agenda.
“Each component party in PH has its own agenda or goal but none of that is with the intention of helping the rakyat in solving their woes or problems,” theSundaily quoted Liow as saying at the MCA Selangor Youth Annual General Meeting in Selayang yesterday.
He said the cooperation between MCA and all other component parties within Barisan Nasional (BN) was going smoothly, unlike the parties in PH, which were constantly fighting with each other to the point of weakening their coalition.
“This is because all BN component parties are driven by the same common values, which is harmony, mutual respect, unity, cooperation and consensus,” Liow said.
“Give us and the government your support to ensure we will be able to deliver the promises we have made,” Liow appealed to the public.
He said the promises include delivering good policies, continuing to protect the constitution, defending the fabric of our multiracial society, and ensuring continued unity and harmony in society.
Liow said to fulfil the promises, it was critical to work together to ensure that the spirit of power-sharing in the country functioned accordingly.
