PETALING JAYA: PPBM has denied that its chairman Dr Mahathir Mohamad has been admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of Hospital Putrajaya for breathing difficulties.
In a Facebook post this evening, it said a message that had gone viral on social media claiming that Mahathir had experienced difficulty breathing while on his way to an event in Puchong, was false.
“We would like to note that the message being circulated is not true at all,” it said in the post which was accompanied by a copy of the message.
The message read: “BREAKING NEWS: PPBM chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad was earlier admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of Hospital Putrajaya. According to a source, Tun Dr Mahathir experienced difficulty breathing while en route to an event in Puchong.”
