“Initial investigations revealed the victim was believed to have been attacked by a male suspect out of anger or jealousy for allegedly having an intimate relationship with his wife,” he said in a statement here today.
He said police were hunting for the suspect and his Thai wife, who lived in the same village as the victim, after they fled following the incident.
Without disclosing further details, Harrith Kam said the suspect had a previous drug-related record.
