This follows negative feedback on the three logos revealed today.
Rafizi said one of the logos was created by Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) while the other two were from PKR.
At a press conference at Invoke Malaysia, he added that he appreciated the “honest feedback” on the logos which he had posted on Facebook today.
Two of the three logos feature the same design: the word “HARAPAN”, with rays radiating outwards. However, the fonts and background colours are different, one being orange and the other red.
The third logo shows a “thumbs up” graphic with the words “PAKATAN HARAPAN” below.
All three logos, shortlisted by the presidential council last week, were largely panned by netizens who said they were “lame” and “bland”.
Rafizi said he did not know whether the party leaders would go ahead with one of the three logos or take the feedback into consideration.
He added he had uploaded the logos on his Facebook page as he believed politicians should not choose the logo’s design.
“As designs are based on preference, not every person will have the same preferences.”
He said the Pakatan Harapan secretariat would decide on the final logo within the next few days.
Pakatan Harapan hopes to register the coalition with the Registrar of Societies (RoS) within two weeks, using a common logo.
If the RoS approval is not obtained in time for the general election, the individual parties will use their own logos.
No, no, no, say netizens to Pakatan Harapan’s 3 proposed logos
