PETALING JAYA: Like something out of a movie, a freak storm in Rawang reportedly ripped through a golf club there, leaving chaos and disorder in its wake.
A video clip of the storm which has gone viral on social media showed chairs and tables flying outside a restaurant at the Tasik Puteri Golf and Country Club while trees collapse at the entrance.
As the camera pans, more trees can be seen lying on their sides, uprooted over by the strong winds.
The wind also displaces an entire ice-cream cooler, which is blown a good five feet or more from its original position.
Pictures showed the road littered with split branches after the storm, with reports adding that cars parked at the club had been damaged by the falling boughs.
