The case came to light when the victim’s father filed a police report in Nilai earlier today.
Nilai police chief Supt Zaldino Zaludin said the student began experiencing abdominal pains and vomiting after the alleged incident and was rushed to a government health clinic by his parents.
The teen told his father that he had been forced to drink poison by a group of students after he chided them for sniffing glue.
Subsequently, the students held him down and forced the poison down his throat.
The next day, the victim complained of a sore throat and stomach ache.
According to the NST report, the victim was first sent to a clinic in Nilai but was later rushed to the emergency unit at Hospital Tuanku Jaafar in Seremban.
Zaldino said police had yet to make any arrest. He said the case was being investigated under Section 328 of the Penal Code for causing hurt with poison.
