KUALA LUMPUR: Two students were among 33 people detained by the police for testing positive for drugs in a raid at a “wild party” held in a luxury condominium in Jalan Sultan Ismail here yesterday.

Seven women were among those who tested positive for drugs in the raid which took place at about 6pm. The suspects were aged between 14 and 28.

Dang Wangi police chief ACP Mohd Sukri Kaman said a total of 47 individuals were screened before the 33 were picked up.

“We believe more drugs were destroyed before the police team entered the condominium unit as the occupants took a long time to open the door,” he told a media conference here today.

He said a 22-year-old man believed to be the party organiser was helping out in the investigations, adding that the suspects were remanded for three days until Friday.
