SHAH ALAM:
Selangor police are expected to call activist Peter Chong to record his statement in order to facilitate investigations into the disappearance of Pastor Raymond Koh.

Selangor Criminal Investigation Department head SAC Fadzil Ahmat said there were reports that claimed Chong had information on the 62-year-old pastor who has been missing since Feb 13.

“So, we have to check (with Chong on the information) as our investigation into the missing pastor is ongoing,” he told reporters here today.

Police have classified Koh’s disappearance as an abduction case, not kidnapping, as there has been no demand for ransom.

Other individuals who have recently gone missing are Perlis Hope Welfare Organisation (Perlis Hope) activist Amri Che Mat, 43, and Pastor Joshua Hilmy and his wife, Ruth.

Chong, who was reported missing on April 6, arrived at KLIA from Pattaya, Thailand, on Sunday.
