Ipoh police chief ACP Sum Chang Keong said in the 4.15am incident, a policeman patrolling the area heard noises from where the buses were parked.
He said the policeman rushed there and saw two men outside the fence of the area, who then fled on a motorcycle.
“A check found the rear of the vehicles splashed with paint. The police also found a burst plastic bag containing paint on the ground,” he said in a statement here, today.
Sum said the investigation found that the suspects threw paint at the bus from outside the fence at a distance of about 25 to 30 metres.
He said the two suspects who committed the act had yet to be identified and police were conducting further investigations.
