
Vincent Victor, 30, admitted before magistrate Atiqah Abd Karim@Husaini to urinating in the compound of the Petaling Jaya police headquarters, kicking a canteen table and acting aggressively by screaming harsh words at the police officers.
The offence was committed at 6am on Jan 1 this year.
He was ordered to serve the sentence from today.
Victor, who is married to a local, was charged under Section 90 of the Police Act 1967 and sentenced under Section 94 A of the same Act, which provided a fine of not more than RM500, or imprisonment of up to six months, or both, upon conviction.
Deputy public prosecutor N Sivashangari, who appeared for the prosecution, asked the court to impose a deterrent sentence on the accused.
In mitigation, Victor, who was unrepresented, said he regretted his action and apologised for it.
According to the facts of the case, on the day of the incident, the accused and some of his friends, who were also foreigners, were detained at an entertainment centre in Damansara Perdana and taken to the police headquarters for a urine test.
However, the accused turned aggressive after being asked to give his urine sample and urinated in the compound of the police headquarters.
He then went to the canteen and kicked the table several times and screamed harsh words at the police officers who tried to calm him down.
