KUALA LUMPUR: Nor Azimah Ibrahim, 32, who was reported missing on Dec 19, 2015 in Medina, Saudi Arabia, while performing the umrah together with her parents, returned home today.

Her father, Ibrahim Abdul Rahman, 55, said he only came to know of her daughter’s arrival at the KL International Airport (KLIA) via his friend’s WhatApp at 3pm.

“Shortly after, I went directly to KLIA to fetch Azimah home and she was in a healthy condition, but under stress.

“I am not sure what happened to her for more than one year after she disappeared in Medina, and she did not talk much when I fetched her at KLIA,” he told Bernama here today.

Ibrahim said for the time being, Azimah needed time to calm down before telling the real story of her disappearance in Medina.

He thanked everyone for their help, especially the Malaysian Consul in Jeddah and the Saudi Arabian security agency for their efforts in looking for her during her disappearance in Medina.

Earlier, Nor Azimah arrived at the KLIA about 12 noon on a MAS flight from Jeddah.
