Hence, the issue of Anina Saadudin having her Srikandi chief title stripped off, does not even arise, he added.

“According to Matter 21 of PPBM’s constitution, the formation of the party’s wings are under the supreme council’s jurisdiction.

“Anina remains as the supreme council member who is tasked to coordinate Srikandi’s movements until the wing is officially formed,” he said in a statement today.

Shahruddin added that the women’s wing will be established soon, after all party procedures are met.

“Srikandi is an important wing and so, appointment of the leader must be carefully thought out, taking into account all views.”

He urged PPBM members to remain calm, and work towards strengthening the party.

Anina yesterday said she was stripped off her post as Srikandi chief, and claimed it was related to a sex scandal she was implicated in.

Her appointment, along with others in the leadership lineup, was reported on November 2.
