
KUALA LUMPUR: The public should be wary of touts who claim they can settle traffic summonses at a discount.
Deputy Inspector-General of Police Noor Rashid Ibrahim said there was no such thing as “middlemen” to settle summonses.
“Payments can only be made at counters to settle summonses,” he told reporters after attending an appreciation ceremony at the Police Training Centre here Tuesday night.
He said police would be coming down hard on those who were involved in such activities.
