Azizan Saad, 58, holds Putrajaya responsible for bringing Malaysia to a critical state.
He also believes it is time for a change in government, as Barisan Nasional has been in power for “so many years”. It is time to give someone else a chance. “This is why, even though I am old, I still come out,” he said.
Azizan has never missed a Bersih protest rally since they were first organised in 2007.
“The economy is getting from bad to worse. We are finding it difficult to survive. Even if we want to throw a kenduri for relatives or friends we got to think twice, with the current economic climate,” said Azizan, clad in a Bersih yellow shirt, while taking a breather at Masjid Jamek LRT station.
Azizan came from Kedah with some friends to join the thousands attending the Bersih 5 rally today.
