IPOH:
Former Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad is often changing his tactics to achieve his own political agenda, says Umno Supreme Council member Tajuddin Abdul Rahman.

He said Mahathir did not seem to have a clear objective and direction in his political struggle.

“He was averse to illegal protests at one time, but now seems to be accepting of it because it contributes to his political strength.

“He does not have rules because the important thing for him is ‘winning’ in politics,” he told reporters at a Farmers’ Organisation Authority workshop on the preparation of a paddy management module here last night.

Tajuddin, who is deputy agriculture and agro-based industry minister, said the former PM was prepared to sacrifice his own principles by working with the opposition DAP.
