“If MPK does not act, we will raise the issue with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) as we have uncovered elements of corruption,” Gerhana president Mohd Ridzuan Abdullah said.
Ridzuan said residents and traders in the area have protested the columbarium project by Nirvana Multi Asia Sdn Bhd, since April when they sent a memorandum to MPK.
Ridzuan said MPK told residents that the matter will be discussed at the state’s exco meeting.
He also alleged that residents are afraid to come out of their houses as gangsters have been harassing them over this issue.
