KUALA LUMPUR: Inspector-General of Police, Khalid Abu Bakar said stern action would be taken against Jamal Md Yunus for allegedly posting seditious remarks on his Facebook account.
“Such seditious remarks are unacceptable. Police will take immediate action,” he said in his Facebook account tonight.
Jamal is alleged to have posted: “I promise that the May 13 tragedy will be repeated and the flying parang will occur if Bersih 5 is held at the same time as the #Bersih5 rally scheduled on Nov 19.”
The remarks were allegedly posted on Sept 21, at 8.10 pm.
