GEORGE TOWN: Police are seeking the driver of a car involved in an accident that killed two motorists along the Lim Chong Eu coastal expressway early today.
District police chief Mior Faridalatrash Wahid said preliminary investigations showed that the car, driven by a man, had been heading towards Bayan Lepas when it collided with two motorcycles.
“Both victims suffered serious injuries and died at the scene. We are now looking for the driver responsible,” he said in a statement here today.
The dead men were Mohamad Faris Md Nasir, 19, from Bayan Lepas, and postman Yusman Arief Jamaluddin, 21, from Taman Sri Gedung, Sungai Petani, Kedah.
