According to Astro Awani, Kelantan police are looking into the matter as the different individuals heard in the two-minute plus video clip, all spoke with a Kelantanese accent.

It is believed that the naked woman had slept with the assailant’s husband. A separate video clip has since emerged, showing a man, said to be the husband of the assailant, being assaulted by her as well.

Meanwhile, Berita Harian reported that the 26-year old victim received multiple stitches to her forehead, due to the cuts caused by the assailant hitting her with a glass bottle which broke on impact.

Meanwhile, the victim’s mother, known only as Ani, said she was shocked that the video was released, adding that she believes it was meant to shame the family.

Ani revealed that she had come to find out about the incident after one of her children showed her the clip.

“She called me before returning home on Wednesday, claiming she had been involved in an accident, but it was an attempt to hide the fact that she was assaulted,” the Bahasa Malaysia daily quoted Ani as saying.

Kelantan police chief Ab Rahman Ismail said the victim had lodged a report at the Kubang Kerian police station last Saturday, Berita Harian reported.
