PETALING JAYA: A huge traffic jam occurred along the Elite Highway after a lorry spilled its load of gas cylinders on the road.
Star Online said a loose tyre from the lorry caused it to spill its load at Km23.9 of the highway during rush hour at 5.30pm.
A security van, hit by one of the fallen gas cylinders, also overturned.
Traffic piled up for 5km on both sides of the highway.
Some of those heading to catch flights at KL International Airport were also caught in the jam.
No injuries were reported.
