PETALING JAYA: A Bangladeshi was crushed to death by a compactor at the Kahang dam construction site in Jalan Felda Kahang Timur, Batu 9, Jalan Mersing-Kluang.

Kluang district police chief ACP Mohamad Laham said the victim suffered severe head injuries, Star Online reported.

He said the worker was resting at the machine around 4.30pm when the operator started the machine and crushed him to death.

The operator fled the scene after the incident.

He is expected to be charged with reckless driving.
