KUALA LUMPUR: Kuala Lumpur police chief Amar Singh Ishar Singh has confirmed that a bag found on a sidewalk in Bangsar here today did not contain explosives.
He said police received a report at 12.40pm by a civilian who found the bag in Jalan Telawi off Jalan Terasek 1.
“The Bomb Disposal Unit (UPB) and the Canine Unit (K-9) were rushed to the scene to conduct checking but found that it only contained clothes and was left in the area,” he told a press conference at the Bukit Jalil Police Station here.
