The latest model, Dawn, is now available in Malaysia and the RM4 million price tag makes the car an obvious target for ultra-high net worth individuals, the News Straits Times reported.
At the launch of the super-luxury car model yesterday, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Kuala Lumpur managing director Michael Ong said that Dawn is a drophead four-seater.
According to Ong, in recent years Rolls Royce has increasingly been attracting younger buyers.
“Rolls-Royce buyers are now the younger generation of affluent buyers. Even the soft-top Dawn is popular with buyers 45 years and younger, he was quoted as saying by NST.
Ong, who is also group executive director of Quill Group, declined to provide details on the sales target nor the number of Rolls-Royce sold in Malaysia last year.
According to global statistics available from the automobile manufacturer, Rolls-Royce sold 3,700 cars in 2015.
