PUTRAJAYA: Police today recorded a statement from former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad over his alleged remark likening Prime Minister Najib Razak to the late Ugandan dictator Idi Amin.
Conducted by Bukit Aman police, the recording of the statement took place at the Perdana Leadership Foundation office in Precinct 8, here.
Dr Mahathir’s lawyer, Haniff Khatri Abdulla, when contacted, confirmed the matter.
