KUALA LUMPUR: The dental centre under investigation following the death of the deputy prime minister’s son-in-law, Syed Alman Zain Syed Alwi, has not been closed as previously reported.
The dental facility, in a statement, highlighted this matter in response to the report of its alleged closure by several publications.
It confirmed that it was extending its full cooperation to the authorities to enable the incident to be duly investigated.
Syed Alman Zain, 44, husband of Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s eldest daughter, Nurulhidayah Ahmad Zahid, died on June 1 at Universiti Malaya Medical Centre after undergoing treatment at a private dental clinic in the capital.
