Chance today tweeted a photo of him posing with an ostrich, with the comment: “Just casually hanging out with a f***ing ostrich in Malaysia #Chickaboo.”

His Twitter account @greysonchance shows his photo has already been retweeted more than 2,000 times within two hours.

It is unclear where the photo was taken or if the ostrich in the picture was the same famous runaway ostrich who stole the hearts of Malaysians last week.

Last Thursday, Chickaboo had leapt out of his owner’s Toyota Hilux along Jalan Universiti, running past the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre and eventually headed towards the Federal Highway, running on the fast lane for most of his journey towards Kuala Lumpur, much to the amusement of motorists.

Chickaboo’s owner, Darren Choy managed to catch up with it, with the help of passersby and later transported the ostrich to the Ostrich Wonderlands farm in Semenyih, Negri Sembilan.

Chance, meanwhile was in the country for a concert which was part of his promotional tour for his new album “Somewhere Over My Head” at the Sunway Putra Mall over the weekend.

Earlier he tweeted, “Thank you so much for a great time tonight KL. Hearing you sing ‘More Than Me’ made my night.”

Yesterday, Chance had also uploaded a photo of him wearing a Kuala Lumpur t-shirt saying, “Ready to play some songs tonight in KL.”

On Twitter, the hashtag #GreysoninMalaysia was a trending topic over the weekend.

Fans have been sharing photos and videos of his performance last night, with one Twitter user @itsmeAdilah saying, “I woke up with a smile this morning because I still can’t get over yesterday. It was an incredible night @greysonchance.”

Another user @frrh96 said, “#GreysonInMalaysia needs to be in #1 trending list as long he is here.”
