They came after a series of blog entries in “Malaysia Today” that alleged Muhyiddin was having an affair with the wife of a judge.
“The wild accusations against me by Raja Petra Kamaruddin in Malaysia Today since a few days ago are unfounded and ill-intended.
“All those allegations are malicious slander which was spread solely to destroy my integrity and it reeks of disgusting politics, especially in the holy month of Ramadan,” he wrote in Malay in a Facebook posting.
Muhyiddin said that those who slandered him should repent and pray, because Ramadan is the month for forgiveness and blessings.
“I believe that these allegations are aimed at undermining my reputation because I spoke out to find the truth after my exit from the Cabinet.
“Allah’s challenge for me is enormous in the month of Ramadan. I must be calm, patient, and pray that Allah eases all of our affairs.”
Recently, Muhyiddin was attacked in a series of blog postings by Raja Petra.
The blogger claimed that “this will be the last straw that breaks the camel’s back”, alluding to the demise of the Anti-Najib Campaign (ANC).
