SUNGAI BESAR: Selangor Umno Youth has lodged a police report about an election campaign billboard in Sekinchan town which carries the DAP symbol, although the party is not contesting in the Sungai Besar parliamentary by-election.
The billboard, bearing a picture of Sekinchan state assemblyman Ng Suee Lim holding a hornbill mascot with a text “Jom Balik Undi” (Let’s Come Home To Vote), was erected in front of Sekinchan district police headquarters.
This is the second controversial protest involving DAP and a billboard in the Sungai Besar by-election campaign.
The first incident earlier this week involved racial allegations and provocative elements involving Sungai Besar Umno division leader Jamal Md Yunos. The posters were brought down after protests.
