PETALING JAYA:
More stories of Malaysians being influenced by Daesh militants have emerged.

Now, the parents influenced by Daesh propaganda, are voluntarily taking their children to Syria to be trained as militants, according to China Press.

The newspaper quoted Special Branch director Commissioner Mohamad Fuzi Harun as saying seven children, including five girls, were reportedly being groomed at the Islamic State army camp in Syria in military training.

The worry now is what will happen when these children slip back into the country upon completing their training.

They could very well be “killing machines” just waiting for the order to carry out further missions.

Fuzi said children from other countries, like Indonesia and the Philippines, also attended such military training.

He said these children were in Syria with their parents and there was no sign IS was abducting these children for training as earlier suspected.

Recently, the IS had earlier released a 15-minute clip showing children and youths engaged in military action.

Police have been consistently advising parents to monitor their children’s activities, especially online, as Daesh propaganda has successfully managed to influence many people, even from Western countries.
