PETALING JAYA:
Comedian Harith Iskander took the idiom “a royal welcome” to a whole new level after he was taken on a tour around Johor by the Crown Prince of Johor.

In a 30-second clip, which went viral, the funnyman joked that he was being shown around town by a “normal, average, everyday tour guide”, Tunku Mahkota of Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim.

“This is so normal. Just another Wednesday for me. So thank you, Tunku,” he quipped in the video.

Once uploaded on his Facebook page, the video garnered over 19,000 views and has been shared more than 100 times.
Also seen in the vehicle is Alistair Edwards, the Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) sporting director.

Harith went on to say that Tunku Ismail was so brave for driving a left-hand drive vehicle.

He also thanked a grinning Tunku Ismail for the favour, who replied “no worries, anytime.”

Many of Harith’s followers praised Tunku Ismail for his down-to-earth demeanour and expressed how excited they were for the comedian.
