“We will write to the IGP asking him what action he has taken to catch Indira’s ex-husband and if he can’t give answers, we will take him to court.
“He is on our radar,” he told reporters outside the Court of Appeal here today.
Last month, the Federal Court ordered the IGP to arrest Indira’s Muslim ex-husband, Mohd Ridhuan Abdullah, for refusing to hand over his youngest child, Prasana, to his ex-wife.
Jihad for Justice Chairman Thasleem Mohd Ibrahim, who was present, said there was already enough of a public outcry urging the IGP and police to look for Indira’s runaway ex-husband.
“The public is basically asking on a daily basis what’s happening, but we’re not hearing any news from the IGP.
“I haven’t even seen a Twitter post from the IGP asking his people to act on this.”
Indira said if her ex-husband had nothing to hide, then he should come forward.
“I totally disapprove of his hiding. If he’s done nothing wrong, he should come forward and purge his contempt of court matter and hand over Prasana.
“He still has rights to see the children, so why hide?”
