Last week, DAP Disciplinary Committee Chief Tan Kok Wai said the party had commenced investigations against Loh after receiving a written complaint on alleged misappropriation of funds in March.
The party then sacked Loh on May 14 after the Disciplinary Committee found him guilty of allegedly misusing state funds allocated to his constituency.
Loh said he would continue serving the constituency despite being sacked and locked out of his service centre in Jenjarom.
He maintained that he was not guilty of misappropriation of funds and would appeal against the party’s decision to sack him.
“I respect the DAP Disciplinary Committee’s decision to sack me, but I strongly deny the allegation of misappropriation of funds.
“All allocations used were applied for, approved and used according to the circular and guidelines of the Kuala Langat district and land offices, in line with state treasury requirements.
“I will be appealing the decision to the DAP Central Executive Committee, in accordance with the party’s constitution soon,” he said in a statement today.
